This series consists of spaces that are beautiful to many but fascinate and terrify me. Underwater paintings feature vibrant coral reefs with tropical fish and hidden sea creatures. The series began with a new found courage of going into the ocean, conquering a small part of my phobia. It continued with a fascination of twists and curves of coral, and groups of seemingly fearless tropical fish that follow swimmers. These created coral landscapes are not an exact representation of any one reef, but a compilation of species, vegetation and imagination.
