Artist Bio

Heather Lokstet is a Canadian Artist, based in Southern Ontario. She studied at Brock University, earning an Honours BA in Fine Arts in 2008.  

For the last 16 years she has been teaching adults how to paint, and working on personalized pieces.

 

 Everything Lokstet sees day to day is broken down into vivid colours.  Her work is based in realism sprinkled with notions of Impressionism.

Lokstets main medium is Acrylic paint, often painting subjects that ispire and terrify her in nature. Always searching for the beauty in life. Although she specializes in Chalk Pastel portraits and sometimes works in oils.
